The 40mm outdoor lock has a laminated steel body which makes it quite robust in the face of physical abuse. The black thermoplastic cover gives it a weather-proofing which makes it an ideal lock for side gates and sheds etc. If used with a sheathed chain the plastic cover will also prevent any damage to paintwork if it runs against the body of the bike. Each lock is equipped with an 8mm hardened steel, double-locking shackle making it resistant to cutting and prying.
